For the potential pilot
We’d like to introduce to you the sport of Touring Motorgliding (TMG).
Motorgliding is a relatively young branch of the flying sport which has more or less eliminated the discomforts of gliding, but which has managed to retain the adventurous and exhilerating elements of this type of sport. A motorglider is a self-starting glider of which the engine, upon reaching a certain height, can be switched off. The aircraft then functions as a regular glider. In addition it can also be used as a two-person motorplane (SEP) with a cruising-speed of approx. 180 km/hr (max approx. 210 km/hr). So, as you see, you needn’t be upstaged by your other aviators!
One of the great advantages of this sport, opposed to pure gliding is that, just as in regular flying, you can book your flying hours, which means that even those with busy schedules can enjoy the activity. Also, bad weather conditions need not mean having to miss out on flying whereas in certain weather conditions the glider aircrafts have no choice but to remain parked 'in the shed'.
Many nurture a secret wish to learn to fly, but have certain restrictions regarding time and money; motorgliding offers them the opportunity! Should you require further information on this exciting sport, or want to book a course this season, please contact us as soon as possible.

For the SEP pilot
Motor gliding is a welcome addition to your sport. With conditions required by the IVW-DL you can take your exam after only a few lessons. Motor gliders are for rent at competative prices at home and abroad. At this level of costs you can fly more often and for longer periods of time, while the flying hours remain valid for your certificate. We will take complete care of your training in the Netherlands and the South of France, and your final exams will be taken in the Netherlands by an IVW-DL certified examinor.

For the glider pilot
The glider will certainly be familiar with the motor glider as a cross-country trainer. As far as gliding is concerned, spoiled as we are, the motor glider will be less suitable for gliding than a plastic ‘superorchid’, but you will enjoy it as a motor plane. For those who have already experienced cross country flying, motor gliding will become an attractive and easy option.

For the MLA pilot
Good news for the MLA pilot!!! Your flying hours on Ultralight are also valid in obtaining a class rating for the TMG and/or SEP. Furthermore, you will experience TMG/SEP has fewer restrictions in local weather conditions than MLA.
